
Equine Health and Nutrition Management
Would you like to become an EQUINE NUTRITION ADVISOR and offer an additional service alongside your therapy; or work independently with equine nutrition? If so, this unique level 5 training programme produces self-employed Equine Nutrition Advisors with an in-depth specialist understanding of the well-being of the horse through study of the principles underpinning equine health and nutritional management.
This programme seeks to provide a stimulating and challenging experience for students wishing to gain scientific knowledge in order to promote the health, welfare and optimise nutrition of the equine athlete. There will be a specific unit dedicated to racehorse nutrition for those who wish to focus on the racing industry and one for the broodmare and foal.
Potential earnings as an Equine Nutrition Advisor £60 to £75 per written consultation.
Your Instructor and Assessor is fully qualified at BSc level and has a great interest in natural feeding and supplementation.
A fully flexible training course combining attended learning and distance learning with the completion of assignments and case studies, completion timescale is circa 6 months. All course material will be provided with theory learning held in the evenings, on-line, over 5 dates in April with a practical day also in April in East Yorkshire.
On-line training - 5-9pm on the 7, 14, 21, 28 April and 5 May 2021.
Practical training - 24 April.
Course fee payments - £400 deposit, 14 monthly payments of £110. Or 18 monthly payments of £86.
