The course is delivered over two Modules. The Foundation Module and Module 1.
Entry Requirements:
To enrol in this programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
A solid academic foundation is essential, with a minimum of good GCE grades at grade C or above. The preferred qualifications include an 'A' level standard or an equivalent educational background. Candidates should possess a history of owning or working with dogs, serving as a minimum requirement. It must be noted that this course is classified as advanced education, emphasising the need for a strong educational background and experience base with dogs.

Exploring cutting-edge techniques:
We provide the latest advancements in manual therapy techniques. Our curriculum is designed to expose you to a wide array of hands-on methods that have been proven effective in promoting canine wellness. Starting with an initial in-depth assessment and progressing to a choice of sports massage, maintenance massage, and remedial massage to myofascial release, you'll learn a diverse range of techniques to help dogs overcome physical limitations, recover from injuries, and optimise their performance. Every dog is treated as an individual with a prescriptive programme.

Our course is accredited by The Institute of Veterinary Animal Professionals (IRVAP), ensuring you receive training of the highest standards. Angela Hall, also a qualified quality assurance assessor and IRVAP Council Officer, continuously updates the courses with the latest scientific research, keeping you at the forefront of the profession.
Flexible and engaging learning:
The theory and practical tuition are delivered online in a step-by-step process. You'll have access to video lectures and presentations, downloadable manuals, and quizzes to engage and test your learning. You'll start with the Foundation and progress to Module 1, completing assignments and case studies on dogs throughout the course. All coursework is assessed by our experienced assessor, providing expert feedback and advice on your work. You can also access your assessor by email and Zoom for additional support.
Motivation and real-world preparation:
Our videos and multimedia bring the world of canine therapy alive with real-life examples to prepare you for the industry as a therapist. Our approach is friendly and accessible, designed to cater to students worldwide.
Options for practical tuition:
You have the additional option of face-to-face practical tuition if you prefer. While the majority of students don’t require this, some may benefit from it. Therefore, we can cater to your preferences. Face-to-face practical master classes are available at different intervals throughout the year in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, for a fee of £200 for a full day of hands-on tuition.
Course completion at your pace:
If you can dedicate around 10 hours a month to your studies, roughly 3 hours a week, you'll make good progress. Realistically, you can complete the entire course in approximately 12 months, or even sooner, depending on the time you allocate. We suggest a maximum completion time of 24 months if you want to take your time.
Flexible payment options:
With our “pay as you go” approach, you can study according to your available funds and time. If you want to complete your studies earlier, you can pay off your course fees quicker and move on to the next Module. If you need to delay your fee payment and studies, you can take a break before progressing to the next Module.
Total course fee: £1800
The Foundation Module is £900, and Module 1 is £900.
You can pay in one instalment of £900 for each module or in 6 monthly instalments of £150 per month.
